| Brief description | |
| Radio Penc Mi was the first community radio in Senegal. It was set up on the initiative of three local farming organisations with financing from Oxfam (UK) to improve local communication and contribute to the region’s development. After some teething problems, the station has developed into a strong organisation with a clear goal. Programmes cover agricultural and farming developments, health and local government. The station broadcasts 49 hours a week. | |
